We fix what's broken, fast, and we don't disappear after the invoice. Same-day appointments available across Cedar Crest and the surrounding zip codes.
Call +1-866-805-8548 and describe what your system is doing — the symptoms help us send a tech prepared with the right parts.
Ask as many questions as you want; we'd rather over-explain than leave you unsure.
If anything feels off after we leave, a follow-up call gets a technician back out to make it right.
Leonard HVAC grew one honest service call at a time in communities like Cedar Crest. Our crews carry manufacturer certifications across the major residential and commercial equipment lines.
We're not interested in being the cheapest quote on the page — we're the team that shows up in the truck, not a subcontractor we've never met. Licensing and insurance aren't optional line items for us, and we keep that documentation available on request for every job, big or small.
We know which neighborhoods run on older ductwork and which subdivisions were built with newer high-efficiency systems. That local knowledge shapes the maintenance schedules we recommend — it's the difference between a tech who's guessing and a tech who's seen your exact situation a hundred times before.
Trust in this industry gets eroded fast, and it takes real consistency to earn it back. That's the gap we built Leonard HVAC to close. We track arrival windows, callback rates, and repeat-issue complaints internally so problems get caught before they become patterns, because a customer who trusts us once tends to call us again — and Cedar Crest is a small enough community that reputation travels fast.
When you call +1-866-805-8548, you're talking to someone who understands the local permitting process, the common equipment brands installed in Cedar Crest homes, and realistic scheduling given local demand. We keep parts inventory stocked based on what actually fails most often on Cedar Crest's housing stock.
We cover the full range of heating, cooling, and air quality work Cedar Crest properties actually need.
Breakdowns rarely happen at a convenient time, which is exactly why our emergency line runs 24 hours a day. Our Cedar Crest dispatch team moves emergency tickets to the front of the schedule so a technician is diagnosing your system as fast as physically possible.
If a specialty part genuinely does need to be ordered, we'll set up a safe temporary fix and give you a real timeline instead of leaving you guessing.
An aging system that's constantly breaking down usually costs more to keep patching than to replace. We walk Cedar Crest homeowners through load calculations so the new system is sized correctly for the actual square footage before a single piece of equipment gets ordered.
Every install ends with a performance test, confirming airflow, temperature split, and refrigerant charge are all where they should be before we consider the job finished.
Commercial equipment operates differently than a residential unit, and it needs technicians who actually understand rooftop packages and multi-zone systems. Our commercial division services multi-zone commercial buildouts across Cedar Crest, with service agreements built around your operating hours.
Our commercial techs are trained to work around your customers and staff, scheduling noisy or disruptive work outside peak hours whenever possible.
Most emergency breakdowns start as a small, ignorable warning sign months earlier. Beyond standard tune-ups, we also handle humidifier, dehumidifier, and air purifier installation for Cedar Crest households that want more than just temperature control.
We'll show you photos of anything concerning we find, along with a plain-language explanation of what it means and whether it's urgent.
We'd rather set clear expectations upfront than make vague promises we can't back up.
Every repair comes with a workmanship warranty explained in plain terms before we leave.
If a competitor's written quote for the same scope of work is genuinely lower, ask us about it.
A technician doesn't consider the job done until the system is tested and performing correctly.
Catching these signs early usually means a same-day repair instead of an emergency call at the worst possible moment.
A healthy system runs with a consistent, low hum — banging, screeching, or grinding usually points to a loose part or failing motor.
If some rooms stay hot or cold no matter what the thermostat says, the system may be struggling to distribute air evenly.
Gradual efficiency loss is easy to miss month to month, but it adds up fast over a season.
This is one of the warning signs we recommend not waiting on.
Chemical odors may signal a refrigerant leak, which requires a licensed technician to handle safely.
Repeated repairs on an aging system are usually the clearest sign that replacement will save more money than another patch job.
No inflated "emergency surcharge" games — the number we quote is the number you pay.
Dispatchers give you a realistic arrival window instead of a vague "sometime today".
We don't consider a job finished until the system is actually performing correctly.
We run background checks because you're letting someone into your home.
Photos and plain-language notes accompany every diagnostic.
Replacement systems don't have to be paid in one lump sum.

"The furnace stopped working overnight and someone was at our door before 9am. Fixed on the first visit and explained everything in terms I could actually understand."
"Scheduled a fall tune-up and they caught a cracked part before it became a real problem. Techs are always polite, always on time, and clean up after themselves."
"They handled the whole install in a single day, exactly like they said they would. Would recommend to anyone in Cedar Crest needing a real replacement, not a patch job."
"As a property manager, having a company that actually answers after-hours calls is rare. Now our go-to for every property in the portfolio."
"The estimate matched the final invoice exactly, down to the dollar. My energy bill dropped noticeably the first month with the new system."
"Diagnosed a failed capacitor and had it swapped within the hour. No overnight surcharge shock — the price matched what dispatch quoted me on the phone."
None of these are unusual or embarrassing — they're just the normal wear and tear that comes with running a system through Cedar Crest's seasonal swings.
Cedar Crest's seasonal swings put real stress on a system that isn't maintained regularly. Before the coldest stretch of the year, a heating system benefits from a full safety inspection, checking the heat exchanger, ignition system, and airflow to catch any issue that could turn into a no-heat emergency.
Setting a programmable or smart thermostat to a consistent schedule reduces the number of times the system has to work hard to catch up to a big temperature swing. None of this replaces a professional tune-up, but it does reduce the wear that leads to premature breakdowns between visits.
We also service package units common on manufactured and modular homes throughout the Cedar Crest area. If your system was installed by a different company entirely, that's not a problem — we service equipment regardless of who originally put it in, and we'll pull the model and serial information to confirm parts compatibility before any repair begins.

Most Cedar Crest homes benefit from two tune-ups a year — one before cooling season and one before heating season.
If you smell gas or burning, shut off the system at the breaker and step outside, then call us immediately.
Our pricing is explained clearly before dispatch, and any after-hours consideration is communicated upfront — never as a surprise on the final invoice.
Straightforward fixes like a capacitor swap or a thermostat replacement are often finished in well under an hour.
For commercial accounts or rental properties, a designated point of contact or property manager can coordinate access instead.
Housing stock varies a lot across Cedar Crest — older homes often still run original ductwork that needs different care than the sealed, high-efficiency systems going into newer builds.
We also work regularly with homeowners associations, property management companies, and multi-unit buildings throughout Cedar Crest.
Qualifying installations can be financed through options we'll walk you through during your in-home estimate, with terms explained clearly before you commit to anything. If a rebate or local incentive program applies to your Cedar Crest installation, our technicians will flag it during the estimate rather than leaving you to track it down after the fact.
If your address falls within Cedar Crest, NM and near Cedar Crest, there's a strong chance we already service your street.
If you're on the edge of our listed zip codes, it's still worth a call, since routes and coverage get adjusted as demand shifts.
